Mission Statement

New American communities are a vital part of our shared civic life at all levels of government while also often apart from many immediate cultural moments. Proud Americans by choice, these neighbors - like all immigrants since the beginning of our nation - have needs and priorities different from longer established communities. New Americans have a closer history and view current events through a lens informed by experiences that are now distant to other groups.

The New Americans Civic League is a 501(c) established to represent the commonalities of neighborhoods and neighbors who believe their voices require a dedicated and forceful platform through which they can communicate all of their concerns and needs, to organize their communities on the basis of those priorities and to support self reliance alongside communal action.
